Alex, 29 years old and originally from the Laurentides, discovered the world of hiking only 3-4 years ago. Being a person passionate about nature in everything he does, Alex started reading, informing himself and learning everything he could about hiking.

His multiple talents

Since then, he has not stopped doing it and preparing to do it. He describes himself as a very passionate person. When he comes across something he loves, he cultivates that passion and goes all out!

In addition to his passion for hiking. Alex has been a musician in the past. Today, he works as a roofer. In parallel to his work, he is very interested in art and especially in the 7th art, the cinema.

As a film buff in his spare time, Alex listens to a lot of films and learns on the job how to shoot and edit video. Self-taught, he started to take pictures of his hikes and made short films of his different trips that he has been broadcasting on his YouTube channel for 2 years now.

Pass on your passion

The goal of his videos is to transpose his passion for art (music, cinema) in his films in order to share with his subscribers a little bit of what he lives and sees when he goes hiking.

His multiple projects

Alex has been on many expeditions. Whether it's a 250 km trek in the Yukon, or an expedition to the Azores Islands in Portugal, Alex is always looking to push his limits and his motivation further in order to reach his goals.

In addition to his expeditions outside of Quebec. Alex trains and hikes extensively in Quebec. His favorite is the White Mountain in the Saguenay. He likes the fact that despite our large and well stocked forests, the White Mountain offers him a complete panorama of the landscape and horizon.

Recently, Alex presented on his YouTube channel the movie Guatemala Odyssey where, with his wife, he goes to conquer the five volcanoes of Guatemala.

Soon, Alex will leave for Iceland to carry out a solo expedition. He will spend several days far from any contact and civilization.
